Little Oyster is a sea-front residential home, on the South East coast of England,catering for people with learning and physical needs. As part of CAP partnership with Elmley HMP and the Learning and skills initiative, 2017 saw relationships build with this local community providing commissioned art pieces for the communal and private rooms of the residents. All commissions were handed to residents in confinement and happily completed as collaborations and individual works. Various visits and hand overs caused quite a stir and one Oyster resident wrote a touching letter of appreciation as an immediate response during one such handover.
